Reflections

2009 - 2010 Reflections Theme: "Beauty is..."

Reflections is a cultural arts program of the National PTA.  This Arts program is available to students who attend a school with a PTA/PTSA in good standing.  It is a worthwhile program that Mimosa Elementary PTA has traditionally supported as it promotes creativity and the arts in school.  This is a short term committee as the deadline for initial submission is in the October/November time frame.  All winning entries must be in to the North Fulton Council of PTAs by the first Friday in December.

Committee Responsibilities:

• Advertising and promoting the Reflections program within the student body and faculty.
• Making sure deadlines are kept for the various submission dates.
• Verifying all entries meet qualifications and standards.
• Judging the entries on the local level (Mimosa Elementary).
• Sending winning entries for each of the six areas to the Council for the next round of judging.
• Arranging for prizes and certificates for the winners and participants in the program.

The Committee consists of the following people:

• Kim Moseley - Treasurer, Mimosa Elementary PTA
