Welcome from the PTA President!

Dear Friends and Family of Mimosa Elementary School:

Welcome and thank you for taking the time to browse our new PTA website. It is our hope that we can use this site as a place to connect with each other and keep you informed about the many great things PTA is doing for the children and the school. Please understand that our website is currently under construction.

It is the vision of PTA to make every child's potential a reality. Getting involved in PTA and the school is the best way to insure that your child succeeds. More than 85 rigorous research studies conducted over 30 years show that kids do better when parents are involved. Grades are higher, test scores improve and attendance increases.

It is our goal at Mimosa to get 100% participation from the parents of our students. Please help us reach this goal by volunteering for as little as 3 hours of your time per year and becoming a member of our local PTA here at Mimosa. Check out the many volunteer opportunities we have for you to choose from on our Volunteering page. Whether it is restocking books in the Media Center or cutting out projects at home with your child, every contribution from the parents makes a positive impact on the success of our children.
